Snow Day!!!

This was taken on Feb. 4 when all of the snow came in.
We had a blast playing in the snow, for those of you that remember my craving for snow when I was pregnant, you may find it funny to know Sophie loves eating it too!

Crazy Hair Sophie!!!

It stays like this if we brush it up after bath time.

She may have a great career as a mad scientist.

We just love you guys!

Christmas

We had a great time at Christmas this year!
We got to go spend some time with our family in Houston. Sophie made friends with the dogs out on the property, and now anytime she even hears a dog bark, she gets really excited.
Christmas morning was pretty low key, but Sophie seemed to enjoy herself, expecially when Dustan started putting the wrapping paper from his gifts over her head and they played peek-a-boo for about 10 minutes straight:).
Christmas with my folks was great! We got to spend time with Sophie's 4 1/2 cousins (Julie's little one isn't quite here yet).
Food as always was wonderful and I wouldn't trade the time with family for anything.
The New Year has come and I can't wait to see what 2011 brings-
Love you guys

So I lost access to this account for a awhile. Not remembering which email account you have things under can really cause a problem. :).. Anyway we are doing fine---day by day. Sophie will be 6 months old in a few days (crazy). Football season is closer to being done than just starting, and that means I might just get my husband back for a awhile, that's something to smile about.
I love you guys and God bless those that read this.

First trip to Houston

So... this last weekend was our first "big" trip with Sophie. We went down to Houston to visit family and friends. It was a great trip. I was a little worried about how Sophie would travel for such a long ride. She was a trooper! She slept most of the way, and after she ate on the rode we were almost there so she stayed up for most of the trip after that. We stayed with some friends, and got to see lots of family for the first time since Sophie was born. Sophie slept just like she would have at home (naps during the day were a little harder). We were gone Thursday through Saturday, and when we got home she was sooo tired! She slept straight through from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. AMAZING! We got back on schedule on Sunday and ready for Day-care on Monday. Thanks to everyone that made this trip happen...
